Precept may help fund care home’s drop in earnings

Britain’s biggest care home group is hoping for funding from the social care precept to flow into its sector after reporting a dramatic drop in earnings.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation for Four Seasons Health Care Group was £38.7m last year, compared with £64m the previous year.
