Public health funding boosted almost 5%

Councils will receive public health grants totalling £3.3bn next year, the Government has announced.

The Department of Health and Social Care released figures for the 2020/21 allocations just two weeks before the start of the financial year, with public health professionals in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
