Review launched into chief's departure

Pembrokeshire CC’s interim boss has commissioned an independent review into the ‘severance arrangements’ linked to the departure of former chief executive Ian Westley.

Council leader David Simpson told a full council meeting that interim chief executive Richard Brown had commissioned the review to report in conjunction with an Audit Wales investigation into the departure of Mr Westley, who was paid £95,000 when he left the authority in November.
