Rotherham apologises for misleading whistle-blower

Rotherham MBC has issued a formal apology to child sexual abuse whistle-blower Jayne Senior after officials misled her during an internal investigation.

The council also said it was ‘very sorry’ for the delay in apologising to Cllr Senior, a charity worker who helped expose the sexual abuse and grooming of up to 1,400 children between 1997 and 2013.
