Sector calls for closer working after COVID confusion

The Government has been told it must work more closely with local authorities to successfully emerge from the coronavirus pandemic.

It follows last week’s U-turn over official guidance to ‘avoid non-essential travel’ into or out of areas affected by the Indian variant, which quietly appeared on the Government’s website.
