Sheffield shows its Heart

The predictions of the death of the high street have been so frequent that in some eyes its demise has been accepted as a reality. But it does not have to be that way – the high street does not need to die, it just needs to provide people with lots of reasons to be there, with shopping being just one of them.

This is easier said than done, but it is far from being mission impossible. It takes vision, determination and the willingness to intervene.
