‘Significant weaknesses’ found by Birmingham audit

A report has revealed ‘significant weaknesses’ in services and a ‘lack of stable leadership’ at Birmingham City Council.

External auditor Grant Thornton’s newly-published report relating to 2020-21 ‘identified risks of significant weakness’ in governance, sustainability and financial performance.
