Split emerges as exit pay cap case approaches

Divisions have emerged between the Local Government Association (LGA) and groups challenging the exit pay cap.

A hearing will take place next month at the High Court after a joint legal challenge by Association of Local Authority Chief Executives and Lawyers in Local Government over the Government’s £95,000 cap on exit payments.
