Strategic suppliers' share of public spending falls

The dominance of major suppliers to the public sector is being slowly eroded, according to newly-published figures.

The local and national government market share of the 34 firms classed by the Cabinet Office as 'strategic suppliers' fell by 15% in the 2018/19 financial year.
