Third of LEPs 'require improvement'

Almost one in three Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) ‘require improvement’ in their attempts to deliver projects by the Government.

Figures published by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) showed that 11 of the 37 LEPs assessed were rated as ‘requires improvement’ for delivering strategic projects on time and within budget.
