'Thousands' at risk as EU settlement deadline looms

Birmingham City Council has urged the Government to extend the deadline for the EU Settlement Scheme as thousands of people in the city are thought to remain undocumented.

It is thought there are 130,000 EU citizens in the country who have not yet registered, meaning they stand to lose access to services such as healthcare.
