The Government talks a big game on devolution.
The Levelling Up White Paper published earlier this year makes the commitment to introduce a devolution deal in every place that wants one by 2030. A raft of new negotiations were announced from Cornwall to Cumbria, and new ‘trailblazer’ deals with the West Midlands and Greater Manchester.
