Troubled combined authority reviewing expenses spending

Payments using a taxpayer-funded procurement card to firms selling pasties and collagen-based superfoods are under review at troubled Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority.

Spending of more than £9,000 – more than half on hotels, including £1,730 at a Mecure Hotel on 26 September - is said to be ‘subject to review’ at the combined authority.
