‘Uncertainty’ over Nottingham intervention

Ministerial upheaval has left Nottingham City Council uncertain of its future amid the threat of Government intervention.

The council has yet to hear whether commissioners will be appointed to take over some of its functions after then-local government minister Kemi Badenoch said the department was minded to intervene back in June.
