Union calls for redundancy consultation pause

Croydon LBC has been urged to pause its consultation on mass redundancies by trade union Unite.

A total of 450 jobs are at risk at the council, with 15% of roles earmarked to be cut and proposals to cut up to a quarter of positions in some departments.
