Unison to step up pressure against outsourcing

The country’s biggest public sector trade union is to step up pressure on outsourcing as it plans for the impact of Brexit.

Amid fears that relaxed red tape post-Brexit could make it easier for multinational companies to take on local government services, Unison plans to launch a campaign promoting insourcing and commission an academic study into the issue.
