Universal Credit rollout pushed back as fresh changes made

A raft of changes have been made to Universal Credit, pushing back the expected completion of the rollout another year.

A letter to councils from Neil Couling, director general of the Universal Credit Programme, laid out the changes, after it was found claimants could receive less money under the new system.
