Watchdog concerns over sustainability and services at Highland Council

A finance watchdog has raised concerns over Highland Council’s sustainability and service performance.

The Accounts Commission said that it expected the council to ‘demonstrate improvement in the next 12 months’ by implementing a series of recommendations made by Audit Scotland.
