Welsh councils express ‘deep concern’ about city centres’ survival

Three Welsh authorities have called for financial support for city centres, warning: ‘If they fail, Wales fails.’

Cardiff City Council, Newport City Council and Swansea City & CC have expressed ‘deep concern’ about their local economies and appealed for ‘a comprehensive and significant support package’.
