Diary considers itself something of a connoisseur when it comes to audit reports, but recently found itself considering the images that adorn their front covers.

The classic approach is, of course, a photo of an important-looking document full of figures, graphs and pie charts - very much the Ronseal approach to illustrating a document full of figures and graphs.
