Worcestershire to transfer education services to company

Worcestershire CC is expected to give the green light to widen the scope of its children’s services company next week.

The council was previously ordered to create a wholly-owned company, Worcestershire Children First, to run its children’s social care services by the Department for Education (DfE) in order to improve on its ‘inadequate’ Ofsted rating.
