Building work started last week on two multimillion-pound media and creative academies in Manchester.

‘They will be ground-breaking schools which will be home to innovative learning spaces, will foster talent and arm our children and young people with the self-confidence, ability and ambition to achieve their full potential and succeed in the work of work,' said Manchester City Council's executive member for children's services, Cllr Sheila Newman.
