Devon CC has announced a shortlist of 13 potential buyers for Exeter International Airport. The council put the airport on the market earlier this year, and received a total of 58 expressions of interest. The council had planned to sell only a majority stake in the airport, but now intends to offload most of its holding and keep a ‘golden share'. The 13-strong shortlist, which has not been revealed, will now be reduced further, and remaining businesses will submit their final bids by mid-September.
