Government plans to allow pubs, clubs and restaurants to open into the early hours will ‘undoubtedly increase alcohol harm', the Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH) has warned.

A fast-track review will seek to reduce ‘pointless restrictions' on spaces such as pubs and bars, with the aim of supporting small businesses and high streets.
