Former Suffolk county councillor Peter Aldous has been elected new chairman of the County All Party Parliamentary Group (CAPPG).

Former Suffolk county councillor Peter Aldous has been elected new chairman of the County All Party Parliamentary Group (CAPPG).

He pledged to campaign for counties to be treated on a par with cities over devolution, economic growth, health and wellbeing issues and to ensuring the best use of public money to improve public services.
