Last week, Diary raised concerns that driving instructor and Whitby Town councillor, Simon Parkes, might be at risk of being abducted by aliens during protracted council business.
Since then, Cllr Parkes, who represents Stakesby ward, has told Philip Schofield, host of ITV's This Morning, that he is not at risk of being taken by aliens during meetings because they do not like large gatherings of people.
