Welsh financial software company Alito has been bought by Proactis for £1.5m. Alito provides services for more than 40 local authorities, including 22 in Yorkshire and Humberside. The company's existing staff are transferring over to Proactis, including Alito's founders, Gareth Kempson and Nicholas Lloyd James. ‘Alito is another excellent purchase for Proactis,' said Proactis chief executive, Rod Jones. ‘It has a strong business pipeline, a stable maintenance revenue stream, and a strong customer base, which can be incorporated easily.'
