Enfield LBC has postponed plans to set up an arm's length management organisation (ALMO) to take over the running of its housing services because of uncertainty over government funding. Enfield was hoping to hear last year if its bid for £147m to establish Enfield Homes was successful, but cabinet member for housing, Matthew Laban, said: ‘We cannot transfer staff and resources with so many financial uncertainties.'
