Birmingham City Council has received applications from businesses seeking funds from a scheme aimed at boosting the manufacturing supply chain.

Birmingham City Council has received applications worth up to £90m from businesses seeking funds from a scheme aimed at boosting the manufacturing supply chain.

Successful applicants to the Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain Initiative, a £125m cash pot supported by the Regional Growth Fund, will either be existing firms seeking a grant or loan to expand; or will encourage potential new suppliers in need of start-up funds to launch operations.
