Ministers should intervene at Anglesey Council, Wales's auditor general has suggested. A corporate governance inspection report by Jeremy Colman has unearthed a ‘long history' of poor management at the authority, ‘which has had a corrosive effect on the way it delivers its work and leaves it poorly placed to meet future challenges'. Failings uncovered include ‘weak self-regulation', ‘inappropriate behaviour' and a ‘long history of personality politics'.
