Cohesion minister, Parmjit Dhanda, has stressed there is no room for complacency in combating anti-semitism. It comes in the aftermath of BNP successes in local government elections, most notably in securing a seat on the London Assembly. Publishing the Government's progress on recommendations made by the all-party parliamentary inquiry into anti-semitism, Mr Dhanda promised: ‘We are committed to increasing the number of hate crimes brought to prosecution, tackling anti-semitism on university campuses, and challenging hate crime and extremism on the Internet.'
