Apprentices return

Leeds City Council has resurrected apprenticeship schemes for its parks and countryside service after an absence of more than 25 years.

Leeds City Council has resurrected apprenticeship schemes for its parks and countryside service after an absence of more than 25 years.

Using funds from the National Apprenticeship Service, 21 new apprentices will receive around £7,000 a year, and gain the chance to develop skills.
