ARCH offers added support A new body has been set up to promote the interests of councils which have hung on to their housing stock. The Association of Retained Council Housing (ARCH) was launched at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s annual conference in Harrogate last week. It aims to share best practice, support authorities that have retained ownership of council homes, and lobby the Government to make this a financially-stable option.
