The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) has grave concerns over school efficiencies in the assembly's budget proposals. WLGA leader, Derek Vaughan, said the plans sliced money from an already-tight local government settlement. ‘The assembly deliberately takes £15m out of school budgets every year for "efficiencies,"'said Cllr Vaughan. ‘The announcement forces the council to put back into schools what the Assembly Government has previously taken out. ‘This means potential cuts in services for everyone else, including the most vulnerable people.'
