Royal Mint workers have taken their fight against privatisation to the Welsh Assembly. Members of the Prospect union, employed by the Royal Mint, outlined their concerns to assembly members at a meeting this week. They argued there was no need to change the existing business model, given its recent record of success, profit generation and meeting all ministerial targets. The union is seeking support from assembly members to back it plans to create a new business model and develop latest technology.
