Assistant Director - Care Delivery Services

Peterborough is a growing, vibrant city and we are taking a fundamental look at the way wedeliver services.

There could not be a more exciting time to be joining the council. We are creating a brand new Adult Social Care department, as the service was previously delivered on the council's behalf by the PCT and NHS Provider Trust.

While retaining the commitment between the council and the local NHS to further develop models of integrated service delivery, your leadership will help to shape that provision going forward in a way that delivers personalisation and independence for our residents.

You will provide professional leadership to social work, care management, occupational therapy and all care professionals. Importantly, you will also be a key player on the departmental management team, adopting a strong corporate profile to ensure adult social care is well connected to other key services and our overall approach to neighbourhoods.

For an informal discussion contact Jon Houlihan of GatenbySanderson on 0121 644 5710. For an application pack visit our website here.

Closing date: 27 May 2012.
