Description

If you're committed to the principles and values of public housing then you'll find that Enfield is the ideal home for your talents. This role represents a diverse and considerable professional challenge. Housing stock is varied, with higher numbers of high density housing than most outer London boroughs, and our demographic profile and social challenges mirror many inner city areas. And we have major works in the pipeline with an extensive estate renewal scheme and £58.6million decent homes funding for our capital works programme.

You'll lead on the management of our ALMO contract, ensuring it delivers high quality services and value for money to around 16,000 homes in our borough (a mix of both tenancies and leaseholds). You'll bring considerable professional experience and technical expertise to the role, enhanced by strong financial management skills.Whether your background is in a local authority, RSL or other setting, you'll be a skilled and able influencer, comfortable operating and negotiating at Board level. You should be able to show evidence of proactive engagement with tenants and leaseholders, and that you have delivered sustainable improvement in organisations through effective performance management of resources, both internal and external.
