Assistant Director – Team London Volunteering

This is a new strategic leadership role, dedicated to building on the volunteering legacy of the London 2012 Olympics. This role will make Team London the conduit for Londoners to do great things for their city - whether it's cleaning up the environment, helping young people or volunteering at one of the capital's great events.

Working closely with mayoral advisers – as well as youth and community organisations, business sponsors and commercial partners – you'll develop policy and raise funds to increase volunteering activity. You'll also oversee integrated communication and marketing for the Team London brand.

Building strategic relationships and alliances is at the heart of the role, so it demands an exceptional communicator with strong influencing skills. You're also capable of managing and motivating a multidisciplinary team. Your background could be in the third sector, local government or central government, but you'll already be operating at a senior level in a complex political or business environment.
