Atkins has joined the Government's new Business Compact scheme, which promotes job applications from all sections of society.
The contractor's HR director, Sue Cooper, said the team would now work with school students throughout the country to introduce them to science, technology and engineering-related careers, and also provide work experience for students from all backgrounds.
