The issue of ‘authentic leadership' will be addressed at Rockpools' annual local government seminar next month. A group of high-profile leaders, including former local government minister, Nick Raynsford; executive director of the IDeA, Lucy de Groot; and chief executive of Manchester City Council, Sir Howard Bernstein, will attend the seminar. Rockpools' chair and senior partner, Hamish Davidson, said: ‘It's a failure to grasp authenticity that too often results in the wrong people attaining critical leadership roles.'
