Authorities join legal battle against 'unfair' English GCSE results

More than 30 local authorities have joined a class action lawsuit against the decision to re-grade English GCSE results. Furious councils have signed a pre-action letter – sent to watchdog OfQual, and the exam bodies, AQA and Edexcel – giving them seven days to respond to concerns, or face a formal legal challenge.
