The number of recommendations from overview and scrutiny committees being implemented by councils has risen to 86%, according to a new survey.

Research by the Centre for Public Scrutiny, published on 31 October, reveals 45% of councillors are positive about the future of overview and scrutiny, while 43% report it adds value.
