Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has warned the party’s candidates to avoid pre-election ‘stitch-ups’ after confirming the Tories may have to form partnerships with Reform following Thursday’s polls.

Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has warned the party's candidates to avoid pre-election ‘stitch-ups' after confirming the Tories may have to form partnerships with Reform following Thursday's polls.

The Tory boss said her party was already in coalitions with the Liberal Democrat and independents and, with some councils likely to end up in no overall control, Conservative councillors would have to do what was right for their areas.
