Former Islington LBC chief executive Helen Bailey is stepping down from her role at the Treasury at the end of February, it has been announced.

Former Islington LBC chief executive Helen Bailey is stepping down from her role at the Treasury at the end of February, it has been announced.

Ms Bailey has been the director of public services at the Treasury since June 2008, with responsibility for health, housing, local government, education and the devolved administrations. She is stepping down ‘to pursue other opportunities'.
