Barristers’ society the Bar Council is pushing hard for new business from local government especially in planning and procurement.

Barristers' society the Bar Council is pushing hard for new business from local government especially in planning and procurement.

Society chairman Nicholas Green said that ‘as a profession I hope we can be a lot more use to local government' saying that a typical barrister was described as ‘a brain on a stick' because of low overhead costs.
