Barnet has housebuilding nailed

Barnet is one of the few London boroughs to hit its housing growth targets and its £8bn Brent Cross Town scheme is delivering one of the most ambitious developments in Europe, says Cath Shaw

Barnet has been hit hard by the housing crisis. In response to unprecedented local need, building new housing is high on the council's agenda. Our progress has been notable; a recent survey by Hamptons ranked us in the top 10 councils for building new homes at pace.

The borough is London's second largest borough by population, home to nearly 400,000 people. It combines leafy outer London suburbs with pockets of deprivation.
