BC’s well collected Ellesmere Port and Neston BC has achieved a council tax and business rate collection which tops the national average. For 2005/06, collection of council tax was 97.8%, above the national average of 96.8%, while collection of business rates reached 98.6% in comparison with a national average of 98.4%.
