Bedfordshire CC and the county's borough and district councils have joined with local health, police and voluntary bodies to sign a three-year contract with the Government to deliver better services. The Local Area Agreement will provide a focus to support national, regional and local priorities, and assist with the major population growth expected in Bedfordshire.
