Big rise in figures for homeless

A new report by Homeless Link, has revealed 48% of councils in England have seen an increase in the number of young people seeking help.

A new report by the charity, Homeless Link, has revealed 48% of councils in England have seen an increase in the number of young people seeking help because they are homeless.

Almost one in five local authorities said they felt they were not meeting their legal requirements for homeless young people, and half of councils reported using bed and breakfast hotels as emergency accommodation.
