Over 90% of Londoners have called for action on the environmental impact caused by throw-away shopping bags. The respondents to London Councils' public consultation have also called for London Councils to lobby for a ban on plastic throw-away shopping bags in the capital when it deposits the 10th London Local Authorities Bill in Parliament later this month.
